As the UK moves closer to awaking from nationwide lockdown, retailers are preparing to re-open with new social distancing measures implemented in-store in order to keep staff and customers safe.
The coronavirus pandemic has already seen some huge changes in the way we now shop in stores, from implementing two-metre spaced queuing systems and one-way navigation through to protective sneeze screens at the checkout.
For high-street and shopping mall retailers, there will also be some distinct changes to how people enter, navigate and pay in-store in order to keep people safe, help contain the virus and prevent a second peak and further nationwide lockdown.
